S&T completes projects using Prince2 methodology, which is based on a process- and product-oriented approach to project management. The method can be easily adjusted to the particular conditions and scale of the given undertaking. In project management, S&T uses both tools that support project management and its experience from previous projects.
In S&T’s approach, Project Manager belongs to the sales team working with the Customer since the very beginning, when the Customer’s needs are analysed. It is the Project Manager’s role at this stage to provide active support in selecting the best approach to project management, as well as in adjusting the tools and procedures to the scale and complexity of the project.
Since the stage of the actual project implementation, Project Manager is personally responsible for the result of the project. Together with the Customer and the implementation team, he or she prepares a Project Implementation Plan, which contains all the information related to the purpose of the project and the manner of its implementation. It may include equipment or software delivery, the performance of implementation services, system integration, or consulting services. The preparation of each Project Implementation Plan takes into account the potential of S&T’s 13 local offices, where the knowledge and skills of 70+ expert engineers and 40+ consultants are available.
Members of the project team may rely on S&T’s own Project Office at every stage of the project. The office aims to support all the processes related to project completion. S&T’s Project Office houses Project Managers and their teams that possess expert certificates confirming their readiness to manage projects, issued by APM Group™ (e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP, M_o_R) and PMI®. Project Managers have many years of experience in managing the largest IT projects completed all over Europe.
